Baskonia – Maccabi

I am siding here with Maccabi for a couple of reasons and will play +3 for 4 units.

Maccabi was very unlucky so far and lost 4,5 games for 1 possession and some of that definitely goes to them and some mistakes they made. They played match for the weekend and Wilbekin, Bryant and couple other players sit out that game while Baskonia played full team in their game. Baskonia coming off great road win vs Efes that we hit and they are only 3 pt favored here. Maccabi has good big guys in Hunter and Zizic that can do good job on Fall and Bender and some other that can take their bigs away from the basket. Henry is biggest treat on Baskonia team but Polonara and few others are really in good form and shooting well. Vildosa is ? and that could be big for them if he is out. Regardless I feel there is not much separating these 2 teams but Euroleague is so tough this year because week in week out you are playing great stacked teams and good start here by Maccabi with rested guards could go long way.

I think there is good value in Maccabi here and they are tricky team but with great coach they are not as wild team as they used to be and I am sure they will be in contention for top 8 by the end of the season.
