Zenit just won today on the road and beat good Basconia team. I played that smaller and live on money line but haven’t posted because Baskonia ahd 2 good games in a row and that was more of me thinking that Zenit will have legit chance of winning that one which ended up being true. In this case Zalgiris has couple losses in a row and after they were killed in Tel Aviv they lost close one to CSKA at home. I expect fully focused team here to give Zenit their first loss on the road.
If you look closer, they beat Alba, Asvel and now Basconia on the road which are not that great teams and are among weakest teams in the competition. They also beat Barcelona at home in first game which was huge and Zenit definitely has quality players. After years following Euroleague, Kaunas was never an easy place to go to and win the game. They are very disciplined team and they shot ball extremely well. Zalgiris is not going to beat themselves so you have to be solid to beat them. From players perspective I don’t think there is much difference between these 2 teams and I just like this spot so I am writing this earlier because I think like will move and I could see anywhere from 4-8pt win for Zalgiris so getting it at -2 I am happy.
There might be 1 or 2 more games for Turkey day to put the bet on and I will write about them but I am playing this one early.
