I am backing here road team and playing +3.5 on Zalgiris which on Bovada has at 1.83 odds..
Zalgiris started Euroleague great, had 5-1 and since then they had like 6 losses in a row. They played some of the best teams in that stretch in Barcelona, Real lost by 3, Armani lost in last few possessions, blown out in Israel and game really I thought they should win was vs Zenit at home when I played them. They are competitive and well coached team. I don’t think Panathinaikos is any more talented when it comes to the roster than Zalgiris and 3.5 could be very sweet here. I would expect similar game to Maccabi’s yesterday with Zalgiris coming out on top in the close one. They got few players back even though they just lost one starter to an injury but imo he is not their “main weapon”. Panathinaikos can be very bad defensively and Zalgiris is one of the best teams when it comes to 3pt% and ft% and those can be deciding factors. It is never easy to win in Greece but with no fans now there is not much difference. Panathinaikos came off great come back win in Italy and they will be pumped as well.
Zalgiris really need to straighten their ship and I expect an all out effort from them. This game is starting after Khimky one and I hope to follow this game in a good mood after we hit Khimky.
