Both teams are coming into this game after a loss. Khimky is only 1-6 in Euroleague but they lost couple close matches lately and overall they lost 4 in a row including to Eurocup team Unics and are still only +2.5 at home. Armani can shine every now and then but they are still inconsistent team and they have been over the years but that is slowly changing with Messina on the bench. They did blew 15 pt lead at home last game vs Panathinaikos who is definitely in the bottom half when it comes to all the teams in Euroleague based just on quality of the players. Khimky lost very close game to Bayern on the road who has been playing great and is 8-4 so that loss can’t be that dramatic. Here is great chance for Khimky to bounce back even thouh Armani has Punter, Datome
Last game they had Jovic for the first time and Booker after missing most of their games too. That was probably the first time that team had all players available and when that is the case they are as deep as any team in the league. Mickey, Booker and Monroe should have big game vs somewhat undersized bigs of Armani. Shved and McCollum should be able to run the show with Jovic providing quality minutes of the bench. Both teams can rack up points and I was a bit surprised that last match late in the game Rodrigues was on the bench for Armani. I was going back and forth of playing just ML at 2.25 on Khimky instead of taking +2.5 but since they lost some close games I will take those 2.5 points but will not play and ML as I often do when I play underdogs. Teams are similar in talent imo and their records are very different but that is due to some injuries and such that I pointed earlier. After good game in Munich I think Khimky will be hungrier to win this game and make more plays down the stretch. Since this is a tricky matchup I will mostly go 3 units on this one and see how it goes live.
